Peter and I decided to follow the footpath alongside the River Thames for a couple of overnight hiking trips. The river is marked in yellow on this map; there's a 180-mile-long path from the source in the mountains, to where it spills into the sea near London. The first trip we went north and west of Oxford (lower right hand corner) to The Ferryman's Inn (lower left hand corner).  { , }, , ,
