Yukon plants

Please be aware that I'm not a plant expert and most of these identifications are a beginner's educated guesses with the occasional help from professionals. Better to guess and be wrong than to wait for perfection! Treat it as a work in progress, with the "plants" column being an inventory of plants found. Lots of help is needed in this column, both to identify and to verify.

One of my goals is to take better photos, in spite of rain, bright sun, wind, mosquitoes and dogs — and their mud splashes on the lens.

New, a stab at mushrooms and other things that I confuse with them! I'm also working on the Skagway Road plants. Lots of hard to ID plants but I'm trying.

This is an experimental site. Because it's mostly hand-crafted, it's not as simple as it should be, but I'm just a team of one person, so... Not user-friendly? Let me know any suggestions to improve it! It actually is pretty barebones about the individual plants. Possibly links to stories about each will come one day.
